Astro City Coming to the Big Screen
"Producer Ben Barenholtz, comic book author Kurt Busiek and screenwriter Jonathan Alpers, under their newly formed Panama Leo banner, have acquired rights to develop a feature from superhuman comic book series Astro City.
"First published in the U.S. in 1995 at Image Comics and since released in France, Germany, Italy, Spain and Brazil, Astro City was the brainchild of Busiek with interior artist Brent Anderson and cover artist Alex Ross. The series is now published by Wildstorm/Homage." [imprint name corrected by poster]
