Warning: Dependence on Facebook, Twitter Could Be Hazardous to Your Business
Ha!
You've probably heard how much the micro-blogging service Twitter can help your business, or that being on social networking site Facebook can boost your company's profile. But what you might not have considered is the potential danger in over-relying on these startups that could go out of business, get bought out, or close your account if you aren't familiar with their Terms of Service.
In terms of growth, both Twitter and Facebook are booming, with Twitter growing by 600% and Facebook nearly tripling in users in the past year. Both companies rely on venture funding to survive. Facebook has been bringing in revenues from advertising; Twitter hasn't yet clarified how it will bring in money.
Where singles go to play all sorts of games - CNN.com
This, my dorky friends, is pure, distilled greatness.
Lynne Lucas is taking herself off the meat market. Monique Brown is sick of having to look cute all the time. And Scott Hayes is searching for his inner child.
Imari Havard, co-founder of PlayDate, dances with some participants on the dance floor.
It's Saturday night at PlayDate in Atlanta, Georgia, where 400 adults have gathered to play games, drink and socialize.

Greatest ever letter of complaint
This is a genuine letter of complaint sent to Sir Richard Branson. We know that because we checked with Virgin. Polly in the press office confirmed that Branson phoned the man back because 'he always likes to hear feedback'.
But she wouldn't confirm rumours that the Virgin boss thought this was the funniest letter of complaint he'd ever received.

Top 20 Bookstore Graphic Novels of 2008
A.C. Nielsen’s BookScan service has provided ICv2 with a ranking of the top 20 graphic novels of 2008, drawn from sell-through information in bookstore and other outlets tracked by the service. The rankings are based on piece sales for the entire year. Watchmen was the #1 graphic novel of 2008; although it was selling great all year, sales were turbocharged by the Watchmen trailer released in conjunction with The Dark Knight, the #1 movie of the year. Batman: The Killing Joke Special Edition, another 20 year old volume written by Alan Moore, was the #5 title of the year.
Upper Deck Source of Counterfeit 'YGO' Cards?
This is a big one...
In an amended complaint filed December 11th, Konami Digital Entertainment has alleged that Upper Deck is the source of the allegedly counterfeit Yu Gi Oh! TCG cards it found in packages distributed by Vintage Sports Cards (see 'Counterfeit Yu Gi Oh! Rares'). In the original complaint, filed in October, Konami named Vintage as the distributor of the packages, but didn’t name Upper Deck as a defendant.
