Celebrity
"LOS ANGELES (AP) - In a sign of simmering tension at the top of one of the nation's largest media giants, Walt Disney Co. vice chairman Roy E. Disney stepped down from the board of directors and called on chairman and chief executive Michael Eisner to resign in a scathing letter."
Celebrity
"Kato Kaelin, Paris Hilton and Vanna White might not seem anything alike, but the three belong to the same dubious brotherhood. They are famous without having done a darn thing to deserve it. O.J.'s houseguest, the spoiled party girl, and the 'Wheel of Fortune' letter turner are famous for being famous.
"Never has the American pop culture scene been more crowded with people who have hardly a thing special going for them except having been thrust into the public eye. Trista Rehn and Ryan Sutter, the 'Bachelor' reject turned-'Bachelorette' and her man, have been living the high-profile life. They were at this year's White House Correspondents Dinner. They were followed around by a phalanx of photographers when they went to register for wedding gifts in L.A.'s Century City. They're discussed on web sites. And why? The reason is simply because they have a relationship, the same as millions of non-famous folk every day. There's lots of reality show flotsam swimming around the celebrity pool these days, as instantly well-known faces scramble to extend their fame beyond their limited series."

The Smoking Gun: Archive
Kabbalah Bracelets
"NOVEMBER 25--When that Paris Hilton videotape started to circulate, we knew it was only a matter of time before the poor young woman--like so many other stressed-out Hollywood types--sought the warm embrace of the Kabbalah. Hilton was spotted last week at the Kabbalah Centre in L.A., where Madonna, Demi Moore, Britney Spears, and Roseanne Barr have studied (or just dabbled in) ancient Jewish mysticism. Like other devotees, Hilton left the joint wearing a piece of red string knotted around her left wrist--not a fashion statement, but something to protect her from the negative influences of the 'Evil Eye.' Powers and Perils - Index
I never played this game, but its really nice to find strong>anything gaming wise for free these days. In these days of $30 and $40 rulebooks, free pdfs are becoming a cool thing. And this might appeal to some of the retro gamers out there, like the Marvel site I linked to before this one.

Neil Gaiman
Neil Gaiman: "(Remember: if you're in New York, go to the Public Library on 5th Avenue and 41st, go up to the third floor, and --this is not a joke -- follow the signs to the Men's Toilets. Just before you reach the toilets, you get to the Charles Addams original art exhibit, which changes several times a year, and is always wonderful.)"

Guardians Of Order - GoO-Blog
The GoO-Blog is for more personal interactions with our fan and customers than our company presence on our message boards and mailing lists. You'll still get current information and company updates, but we'll be more conversational and less formal. Additionally, we plan to give you a peek at the company operations, a 'behind-the-scenes' look at what we're doing and why."
