This Week's SL Setlists

I'm previewing the setlists for this week's DJ sets in Second Life. You can search for either "The Gnarled Oak" or "Fiction and Lattes" to find the locations, or if worse comes to worse IM Walton Vieria and I'll send you a limo. Both of these sets are for Wednesday, June 3, 2009. While the Oak setlist is pretty much locked in, I might still play around with the Orion set.

The first set will be at the Gnarled Oak and is a cat-themed set. Music about cats and kitties...and something else that some consider to be cat-like. This set is from 5-7 SLT. The music is all over the place for this set, just the way that I like it.

This set is the one that I get to play around with a bit, since I don't have anyone following me like I do at the Oak. I try to follow where the crowd is going and the music follows all of that. Because of that my Orion setlists tend to be a starting point rather than a destination. After a few weeks away from them, this set is a little heavier on the mashups than I've been doing for a bit. After the week of the RFL set happening at the same time as my Boot Camp at Republik, I got a little bit burnt out. But since this weekend I'm doing a Boot Camp set, I was looking for some new bastard pop and because I was in that mindspace a few tracks snuck into this set.

I hope that I'll see some of you in Second Life at these sets, and like I said at the beginning if you like what you see and want to show up just IM Walton Vieria. Always happy to have more peeps at my sets.
